Prof. Dr. Thomas Meenken

Managing Director

Born in 1975, Mr. Meenken studied Physical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven in the Department of Natural Science and Technology. He completed his “Master of Science” studies with accompanying work as a research assistant at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (Canada). Mr. Meenken then earned his doctorate at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich. In 2007, Meenken joined the Carl Zeiss Group as a Systems Engineer and became a team leader in 2009. In 2011, he moved to the Roche Group (Diagnostics), where he held various senior positions at different locations, most recently as Program Manager. Since 2019, Mr. Meenken has been Chief Technology Officer at the world market leader for corrugated board systems, BHS Corrugated. In 2024, he founded his own consulting firm, advising SMEs on topics such as AI in Engineering, Digital Twin, Industry 4.0, and Systems Engineering.

Since April 2025, Mr. Meenken has also been a professor at TH Deggendorf, Campus BITZ Kemnath, specializing in the field of Technology of Scale.
